The main objective of Tom Bunker's photography and framing is in correlating the composition and tone of an image to its frame. After beginning as a picture framer in Santa Cruz, California in 1975, he has practiced the art of enhancing printed images over three decades in Seattle, Portland, and Denver. His landscape photography yields indelible images from Maine to Hawaii. Overall, he has found that the simple application of domestic and exotic hardwoods provide the appropriate, tasteful, and classic means to turn keepsake images into heirloom quality art. Tom and Brenda Bunker now reside in an 1896 Amish farmhouse on 5 acres in Red Oak, Iowa.
Tom's work is now on display at the Passageway Art Gallery in Omaha, Nebraska. The gallery is located at 417 South 11th St. in the Old Market. |
